Test Anxiety
Test anxiety is the worst.
I'm currently not trying to stress right now, and neither should you. It may be hard to not freak out about your test, but in all honesty, panicking just makes it worse. It helps no one. If you are in panic mode, just breathe. Breathe and try to calm down. You are ready for this test. You will do fine on this test.
I think test anxiety is a thing because we become so fearful of failing. Yes, failing is a bummer but it's not the worst possible thing that could happen to you. If you do fail, it just gives you a reason to try harder. I failed my first AP test during freshman year. I was so devastated that I didn't even want to take another AP test because I was scared of failing again. But then I realized how I shouldn't give up after one loss, and that I should try again. So here I am, as a junior, taking 3 AP tests this year, took 1 last year, and I plan on taking 4 more next year. It's just a test; even if you do pass or fail, the outcome does not define you. So keep trying!
